"Sanskriti" means "Culture" in Hindi. We have decided to name Sanskriti so that we can create a culture of quality education among the minority communities of Assam. We strongly believe that each child have a capabilities to reach new horizon and conquer new frontier. The essence of knowledge is inevitable.
Sanskriti Vidhyapeeth began operation on 15th December, 2015 from No. 5 Baruajhar. A lovely village along side NH 15 of Darrang district of Assam. The school has been operating by ELIZA BEGUM & MAHAMMAD ALI FOUNDATION. The NGO has been operating in the area for child development and education and also strengthen its root on women empowerment. Initially, the school began with 50 students, all healing from minority communities of village around the School. We have a running roster of 14 teachers and 4 non teaching staffs and volunteers from near by villages and towns.
No. 5 Baruajhar is a village under Dalgaon sub division with a population of around 2500. It is a typical minority community village pacing towards modernization and focusing on modern education. The main language speaking in this area is bengali. There are other schools government and non government school in and around the village but Sanskriti Vidhyapeeth is set up to provide quality education to the children of the area.
Sanskriti Vidhyapeeth follows the Assam Jatiya Vidhyalaya Education Council syllabus. It is an Assamese-medium,(vernacular language medium of the sate, privately run organisation with a heavy focus on high academic and co-curricular quality. Along with studies, we like to provide students with a fun learning experience that involves activities with music, movies, dramatics, public speaking, and sports and games in their daily school life.
The long-term plan for the School is to grow up to a high school level within the village, by which time the management intends to set up a senior secondary and college in the vicinity for these students and others in the region to pursue higher education.
